WHAT IS THE NO-NEEDLE FACIAL

Skin Resurfacing And Chemical Peels
Dermaquest chemical peels/resurfacers are designed to rejuvenate your skin and make it feel bright and healthy. A thorough skin consultation is required in which the therapists analyse the skin condition, colour and hydration levels in order to prepare the treatment plan. 1-2 weeks of skin prepping is generally needed before the actual treatment.
A high sun protection factor must be worn at all times and after having the treatments. Everyone over the age of 18 can have a skin peel or resurfacer, which treatment is best for you is discussed on consultation.

Broken blood vessels on the face are enlarged blood vessels that occur just beneath the surface of the skin.
The resulting red, web-shaped appearance gives them their common name, spider veins.
Spider veins are commonly found on the face or legs, though they may appear anywhere on the body.
Other than their appearance, spider veins do not cause any other symptoms.

What is pigmentation?
You may not have deep frown lines or crow's feet, but if you feel like you're ageing, chances are it's thanks to uneven skin tone. Now, we're not talking a sweet smattering of freckles, but bigger, uneven brown patches on not only the face but hands, décolletage and shoulder areas. It's these ageing dark spots of bother that is known as pigmentation, caused by sun exposure and specifically the UVA rays which penetrate deep into your skin and cause ageing.
UVA stimulates your pigment cells called Melanocytes to manufacture the pigment called Melanin. This is responsible for your tan and also your unwanted dark patches These sun spots may take up to 10-20 years to develop, so if you notice some showing now it could have been caused when you were a child.

Blemish Removal Using Advanced Cosmetic Procedures
Advanced cosmetic procedures is a new adaptation of an existing well established and safety proven treatment, namely electrolysis.
Electrolysis in its usual form is best known as a hair removal procedure which works by passing an electrical current into the root of the hair follicle and killing it.
However, electrical current can also be used to remove skin blemishes such as skin tags, warts and thread veins.
The electrical current passes down a probe and into the skin where it effectively cauterises the blemish enabling it to be removed without surgery.
