Skin Resurfacing And Chemical Peels
Dermaquest chemical peels/resurfacers are designed to rejuvenate your skin and make it feel bright and healthy. A thorough skin consultation is required in which the therapists analyse the skin condition, colour and hydration levels in order to prepare the treatment plan. 1-2 weeks of skin prepping is generally needed before the actual treatment. A high sun protection factor must be worn at all times and after having the treatments. Everyone over the age of 18 can have a skin peel or resurfacer, which treatment is best for you is discussed on consultation.

​CONSULTATIONS
We perform free consultations for all of our treatments to help everyone understand the treatments we offer and the results that you get. Part of the consultation process with our skin peels is a mini facial, we offer the mini facial in the consultation so that we can understand the skin better by looking closely as your skin and to touching the skin. With many of our peels, you do need to prep your skin before treatment, as part of the facial we use all the products that you will need to prep your skin ready for your treatment so that you get to feel what they are like on the skin. A consultation and mini facial takes around 40 minutes, we also do a patch test which we lave on your skin for 5 minutes, this gives us a indication if you are suitable for treatment.

Glycolic Acid Resurfacer, Levels I and II
This deeply exfoliating treatment uses a unique blend of anti-aging ingredients to retexture damaged skin. Using 30 or 40% Glycolic Acid to firm and Lilac Plant Stem Cells to protect skin from environmental pollution, this is an ideal treatment for those with significant UV damage. Not recommended for sensitive skin.

Glycolic Acid Peel
This physician-level peel is deeply exfoliating, using a unique blend of anti-aging ingredients to retexture damaged skin. Using 65% Glycolic Acid to firm and Lilac Plant Stem Cells to protect skin from environmental pollution, this treatment moves into the deepest cellular layers, working for many hours, and sometimes days, to repair and rejuvenate skin.

Salicylic Acid Peel
This physician-level peel uses 30% Salicylic Acid to penetrate and decongest follicles, reducing redness and inflammation associated with acne while preventing future breakouts. By targeting blemish-causing bacteria, it effectively releases hardened sebum while quashing oil, and continues to address acne concerns even after it’s application. Modified Jessner’s Peel
This peel was designed to comprehensively manage acne, preventing persistent breakouts and calming current blemishes with Salicylic Acid. Anti-inflammatory and antibacterial, our Modified Jessner’s peel also employs Lactic Acid to lift dark spots due to acne scarring, and resorcinol to exfoliate away dead skin cells, excess oil and debris to establish your clean and clear complexion.

TCA/Salicylic Acid Peel
Our most comprehensive and potent anti-aging peel, this treatment was formulated to combat severe photo damage, distended pores, deep wrinkles and dull, sagging skin. A rescue operation for distressed skin, we use 7% Salicylic Acid and 2% Trichloroacetic Acid to penetrate the deepest epidermal layers.
